## Click on the goal title \> Enter the Goal Hub \> Click on the tasks tab \> Click on the checkbox to the left of the task title

If there are any unfamiliar terms within this article, please consult our [glossary](https://support.governmentframeworks.com/knowledgebase/glossary-of-common-terms?hsLang=en)

Tasks are used to show progress against a [goal](https://support.governmentframeworks.com/knowledgebase/glossary-of-common-terms?hsLang=en). To create a task, follow this [link](https://support.governmentframeworks.com/knowledgebase/how-do-i-create-a-task-in-cascade?hsLang=en). If you already have tasks within your goal and you wish to check them off as complete, follow the following steps:

- Click on the goal title to bring up the sidebar
- Click on the blue circle with the '\<' in it to exapand the sidebar into the [Goal Hub](https://support.governmentframeworks.com/knowledgebase/glossary-of-common-terms?hsLang=en)
- Within the Goal Hub there are tabs at the top of the page, click on the 'Tasks' tab to enter the tasks section
- Your tasks will be listed in two categories, 'To Do' and 'Complete'. To mark your 'To Do' tasks as complete, click on the checkbox to the left of the goal title

If you have marked a task as complete by accident, you can uncheck it from the 'Complete' list and it will reverse the process

Below is a video showing how to mark your tasks as complete...

If your goal tracking is set to 'Task Completion' you may check the task as complete from the sidebar as shown in the video below
