To alter your goal's status you will need to: increase your numerical progress, or, alter your goal's expected progress.

A goal will show as Behind in Cascade when the progress is lower than the expectation that has been set. Ex: If a goal is expected to be 75% complete by the beginning of September, but is only 60% complete, the goal will be Behind.
To increase the progress of your goal, please consult the article on, "How to add Progress to a Goal".
To edit the expected progress of a goal so that it tracks more closely to when you are undertaking the work to complete the goal, please consult the article covering, "How do I set Expected Progress in Cascade?"
