# Why is my Goal Showing as Behind?

## To alter your goal's status you will need to: increase your numerical progress, or, alter your goal's expected progress.

A goal will show as Behind in Cascade when the progress is lower than the expectation that has been set. Ex: If a goal is expected to be 75% complete by the beginning of September, but is only 60% complete, the goal will be Behind.
